Paramount Pictures have released yet another new television spot for their upcoming Michael Bay-produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. This one features the son "Shell Shocked" from Juicy J, Wiz Khalifa, Ty Dolla $ign, Kill The Noise and Madsonik.

The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan.

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES directed by Jonathan Liebesman ("Wrath of the Titans"), and produced by Michael Bay ("The Rock"). The script was written by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec, based on characters created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. The cast includes: Megan Fox as April O'Neil, Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Noel Fisher as Michelangelo, Danny Woodburn as Splinter, Jeremy Howard as Donatello, Pete Ploszek as Leonardo, Will Arnett as Vernon and William Fichtner as Shredder. It lands in theaters August 8, 2014.

Okay.

After seeing some trailers, yeah, this is starting to grow on me. They're still freakishly huge and Shredder looks like he carries a ton of metal on him, but the way the Turtles move and talk and overall characters seem like the Turtles I knew way back then.

So, I'll check it out when it comes my way next month.

Oh yeah, the lips. Though they do look like shit on the pics and posters, when you see it moving in the film, they do look like the logical step to take when you have progressively better technology to represent these creatures.

So, Jonathan Liebesman, huh? Okay, let's see what you can do.

I must say, I was completely against a reboot of my beloved Ninja Turtles, but the more tv spots I watch...the more I am intrigued and excited. The humor is cheesy and hilarious. I feel like they captured the heart of the turtles of old. I will see this at midnight for sure. Go Ninja go Ninja go!
