We got a first glimpse of the infant versions of the Turtles via some action figure packaging earlier this year, but this latest clip from the Seth Rogen-produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem animated reboot unveils the Turtle Tots in all their adorable glory.
In the sneak peek, we find out how Splinter and his reptilian sons were mutated by some mysterious green ooze that was dropped down a sewer, before forming the family unit that's become the backbone of every TMNT adventure.
Though we have seen a few different variations on this story over the years, most of the major elements have remained the same, and it doesn't look like Rogen and co. will be making any major changes for Mutant Mayhem.
Check out the new clip at the link below, and let us know if you plan on seeing the movie when it releases on August 2.
“After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.”
