LOVE IS IN THE AIR — Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) decides that she and Barry (Grant Gustin)need to move on from Ronnie (guest star Robbie Amell) and Iris (Candice Patton) and find newloves so she takes him for a night out at the local karaoke bar. Caitlin doesn’t have any luck makinga love connection but Barry meets Linda Park (guest star Malese Jow), a sports reporter for theCentral City Picture News, and asks her out on a date. When Barry tells Iris he has a date, Iris issurprised by her reaction. Meanwhile, Cisco (Carlos Ramon) considers Hartley’s (guest star AndyMientus) dangerous offer and the team searches for Shawna (guest star Britne Oldford), a meta-human with teleportation powers, who just busted her boyfriend Clay (guest star Micah Parker) outof Iron Heights. When Henry (guest star John Wesley Shipps) snoops around in an attempt to helpJoe (Jesse L. Martin) and Barry solve the crime, he ends up in the infirmary after getting roughed upby inmates. Rob Hardy directed the episode written by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing.

Wonder if at this rate we'll ever see Wally...dont see why we cant we got Roy/Arsenal didnt we...think of how it would change up the series if they introduced Kid Flash...

As much as I like this show, I will have to agree that there is little buy-in to the only actual relationship in the show, which is Eddie and Iris. Perhaps that is because one is bought more into Barry and her should be together, but there has been little to no buildup to why Iris and Eddie are even together and there is little chemistry between them. I do see the chemistry with Barry and Iris though.

Why watch this show when DC/WB don't have enough faith in it to create a shared universe? Casting Ezra as the Flash in the movie universe is a statement from WB that Gustin and the CW-Flashverse are not good enough to exist in cinema. They've written it off, so why shouldn't we? [frick] it.

You're saying that we -- the fans -- should write off the Berlanti Productions/CWDC hero TV shows because Warner Bros. didn't want to make Grant Gustin the Flash of their film franchise??? You're taking the ideas of the executives at Warner Bros -- who gave us films like 'Superman IV', 'Batman & Robin,' and 'Jonah Hex' -- over our own?? I would almost say that their rejection of Grant Gustin is an endorsement to the fans. Of course these same film studio executives also gave us 'The Matrix,' the Richard Donner Superman and the Dark Knight Trilogy, so they get it right about half the time.

I make my own decisions about what I watch.

DC can't make up its mind if Superman Beats the Shit out of Assfeck While Gal Gadot Gets Her Skinny Ass Handed To Her By A Sammich is a one-part ortwo-part movie a year out from the film's release.

And DC casts a girl as the Flash for the movies.

Pathetic.

Flash is GOOD Arrow is okay. Still loving Agent Carter and looking forward to the return of Agents of SHIELD.

And Marvel Studios has a SOLID slat of movies all the way to the end of Phase Three.

And DC Films are STILL piddling around with their tiny little dicks and wasting time on total shit like Suicide Squid and girl Flash.

Puke.

The Flash TV show is VERY Good, though.

I like how with adding Linda Park to the show they are paying tribute to Wally West as Flash. I wonder if will get to meet Wally on the show at some point. He was a huge Flash fan before he became Kid Flash. So in theory during the second season with the public now knowing his is real they could work him in.
