@Jeight: As much I like this show, I am with @Dev7 here. There were loads of flaws in the way their characters are written.

And with Daredevil, JJ around the corner, and AoS being consistently great,Flash, as a series, has to be more than just being a funny, vibrant and energetic show. These Marvel shows have achieved that, which, I don't think it is.

As much compliments they get for sticking close to the source material, if they deliver a better writing by deviating(not too far)from it, I am all for it.

As long as the superheroes from other worlds are American then it's all good. Keep the foreigners as the villains.

@Jeight:" Give the supporting characters something to do, give Barry some worth villains and challenges and maybe some super hero team ups."

We have seen that for the whole 1st season. Not that, there are any other possible ways to go either. But less amount of villains, no villain of the week, etc. could easily work, provided they are creative enough. Look at how Grodd developed. That's how I expect most of the villains to be written in the similar way in Flash. I wouldn't find it entertaining if I see the same things again.

My point is not they should improve. CW proved that they did deliver both, an entertaining and well written series, with Arrow S2, as you mentioned. They could and should do the same to Flash

I am just saying, they should be more than just entertaining, vibrant, and upbeat. Again Arrow S2 And AoS(since S2)is just that.

And they shouldn't unnecessarily go big, with too many characters popping here and there. Arrow S3 is an example.

Love this show. really enjoyed this show which really encapsulates everything a superhero show should be. decent special effects but what really elevates it is the interaction and relationship between the characters.

@Dev7 and @ PecsiGotPepsi: The show knows what it wants to be unlike Arrow. Arrow tries to be super deep and complex, but that gets drowned out for drama. Flash is okay because it's more willing to get cheesy and crazy with all these ideas. Kind of like the Silver Age sometimes. I don't want them to try to get to complicated. Keep it light and simple. Focus on Barry's cast, Earth 2 and the Rogues and everything will be fine.
