Following the defeat of Barry Allen's arch-nemesis Eobard Thawne (aka Reverse Flash), Team Flash quickly turned their attention to the singularity swirling high above Central City, which fans last saw consuming everything in its path. Armed with the heart of a hero and the ability to move at super speeds, Barry charged into the eye of the singularity, but will he actually be able to save his city from impending doom?

It's not the return of Harrison Wells. It's the return of Eobard Thawne.

He's wearing the same form of attire he wore as Eobard-post absorbing Harrison Wells. He wore consistently all-black attire, as did Matt Letscher's original Eobard. In the two scenes we get of the real Harrison Wells via the flashbacks, he's got a more colourful attire, distinctly different than the attire of Eobard-Wells.

This and the mere fact Cavanagh has no desire to play a real Harrison Wells.

Maybe it is Wells or maybe it is Thawn. If it is Wells I believe he is the one we don't see in the 8th and 9th pics. I believe they are shocked to see him but he tells them that he is Wells not Thawn and that because Eddie killed himself which stopped Eobard being born it meant he never killed Wells. I then believe depending on who he actually is the scenario will change. I don't believe he will be Zoom. Who we all know is the villain this series, but if it is Eobard he will know who Zoom really is. I would say if it is Eobard it will be him from another universe.
