Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team look for another Firestorm match for Dr. Stein (Victor Garber). When the team meets Jefferson “Jax” Jackson (guest star Franz Drameh), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) has her reservations about whether Jax is the right match for Dr. Stein. Iris (Candice Patton) surprises Joe (Jesse L. Martin) while Barry and Patty (guest star Shantel VanSanten) grow closer. Stefan Pleszczynski directed the episode written by Kai Yu Wu & Joe Peracchio.

Alright then. I hope this little story arc doesn't go on too long, and is used as a way to introduce Wally. Maybe he's actually Iris' little brother from her mom's second family. That would allow his introduction and remove any confusion as to why he's never been mentioned before.

Like some people mentions i too think it would be a good way to introduce wally without having to explain why we haven't heard about him till now it won't happen. Main reason being his last name is west which would imply he's from joes side of the family.

@BlackStar25 She was alluding to Wally in the "so much you don't know" part. Seeing how the clips are always from the beginning of the episodes, my guess she'll mention Wally by the end or the beginning of next episode.

It's possible that the mom never changed her last name from West, and found herself in a similar situation with the father of Wally not sticking around. Therefore Wally also carries the West name, even though he isn't related to Joe.
