The CW has released 3 new images from the next episode of The Flash, and they contain a pretty big SPOILER that could have repercussions for Wally West and his relationship to the Fastest Man Alive...

Well well, it seems Wally West is going to find out that Barry Allen is actually the Scarlet Speedster in the "Versus Zoom" episode of The Flash that's set to air later this month.

As you can see from these images, Zoom is displaying - for want of a better term - West right in front of an unmaked Allen, so barring some unforeseen circumstances, this should signal some major changes in the status quo moving forward.

BARRY IS READY TO FACE ZOOM; HUNTER ZOLOMAN’S STORY IS REVEALED Equipped with the tachyon device, Barry (Grant Gustin) believes he is fast enough to stop Zoom (guest star Teddy Sears) and wants to open the breaches to catch him. Harry (Tom Cavanagh) strongly advises against that plan but after Barry convinces him, Harry reveals that Cisco (Carlos Valdes) has the power to re-open the breach. Meanwhile, Hunter Zoloman’s (Teddy Sears) painful story on Earth-2 is revealed.

@Mick808 - if they ever homage Crisis on Infinite Earths, I'm thinking they'll just ditch his identity in favor of a public one, kinda like Wally West.

@Scorpo - not complaining more so trying to understand why. Nothing to grouse about as I assumed this would occur, just thought they'd keep it on the DL, like they did with Zooms identity. We learned that not through pre released photos, but to seeing it on tv first.

There's something off with Zoom's looks.

Anyway. I had lost hopes for this season, to be interesting. Hopefully Season 3 is something fresher.

@DerekLake - in the new comics, Wally rides his experimental propulsion engine through Zoom's speedforce barrier and becomes a speed battery. Last episode he mentioned working on something similar.
