Though we heard that German actress Antje Traue was set to reprise her Man of Steel role as Faora for The Flash around the same time it was announced that Michael Shannon would be back as General Zod, her character has yet to be featured in any of the trailers or TV spots aside from (maybe) a brief glimpse.

Now, Traue has taken to social media to share a behind-the-scenes look at her preparation to return to action as Zod's formidable right-hand woman.

Faora had a small, but memorable role in Zack Snyder's first DCEU movie, and though she's not expected to have much more to do in The Flash, we have heard that her face-off with Supergirl (Sasha Calle) is a highlight.

Check out the photos at the links below.

"Directed by Andy Muschietti, The Flash features Barry Allen traveling back in time in order to change events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to help. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian…albeit not the one he’s looking for.

Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?"

The Flash is produced by Barbara Muschietti and Michael Disco, with a screenplay by Christina Hodson, an a screen story by John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein and Joby Harold, based on characters from DC. Warner Bros. Pictures presents a Double Dream/a Disco Factory production of an Andy Muschietti film.

A totally wasted badass villain in my opinion. With the Dark Knight films and Man of Steel, DC was sitting on the greatest villian roster in any film franchise. But then Zack Snyder, Geoff Johns, Walter Hamada, came along and the other DCEU directors and what did we get...Lex "Riddler want to be" Luthor, Maxwell "Goofball" Lord, a not at all scary Cheetah, the over the hill daughters of Atlas, Jugaloo Joker, Hoola hooping Enchantress, etc, etc...

What a waste!

@kg8817 - I doubt 6 or 7 years old wanted to see that movie without seeing the previous ones.

I like her a lot, and she is very talented.

What a delicious villain she would make in the MCU. Hellfire Club member? Lilandra, Selene. Would be a great Moira MacTaggert too.

Yes, she would have been perfect for Wonder Woman, but will be deemed too old for Gunn's DCFU overhaul.

So she does come back!
She has always been my pick for Samus Aran.

It's cool she also returns. Wished she was promoted in the same way that Zod was with that said.
