THE FLASH: Batman's Batwing Takes Flight In TV Spot; New Stills Highlight Supergirl And Barry Allen

With just over a month to go before The Flash arrives in theaters, another international TV spot has been released featuring even more electrifying new footage.

There's a great shot of the Scarlet Speedster unmasked and seemingly navigating the Speed Force, while the Dark Knight's Batwing also receives the spotlight. We've already seen that take flight, of course, but it looks particularly badass in this promo.

A handful of new stills from The Flash have also found their way online, with the Fastest Man Alive and Supergirl taking centre stage. There's a huge amount of excitement to see the latter in action, though all signs point to this being a one-and-done appearance for the Girl of Steel.

Once upon a time, both she and Michael Keaton's Batman were going to join the DCEU, but that idea has been thrown out by DC Studios (along with Batman Beyond and Crisis on Infinite Earths movies)

Check out the latest TV spot and stills from The Flash below.

Worlds collide in The Flash when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to.

That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian...albeit not the one he's looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry's only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?

The movie stars Ezra Miller, Sasha Calle, Michael Shannon, Ron Livingston, Maribel Verdu, Kiersey Clemons, Antje Traue, and Michael Keaton.

The Flash races into theaters on June 16.

@DaRealCapClunge - you know against my better judgement I will also watch it.I just wish all the negative stuff surrounding Enza didn't put a cloud over it but I take solace in the fact after this movie he is done.I also find it very ironic that possibly the best movie from the DCEU is coming at near the end of this universe as we know it.

@pitbull76 - Yep I agree on all points. Sadly the flash is one of my faves so I was always going to at least watch it once no matter the quality but this actually looks really damn good.

Hope Ezra is recast though I could see WB keeping him if the movie is a massive success and he behaves.

@DaRealCapClunge - I mean I never heard this anywhere I'm just throwing it out there but do you think that since Gunn has come aboard they filmed something that kick off DCU?

@pitbull76 - they might have, it would be the perfect opportunity to kick it off somehow, I just wish it was a full reboot 😭 this partial reboot will have me mourning characters/ actors that were not factored into the new DCU.

@DaRealCapClunge - @pitbull76 - As it stands he will not be recast if the film makes a billion (which it very easily could do).

I'm going to watch it once, but I really want to go nuts over it, watching it repeatedly getting everyone else to watch it, merch, etc.
But I just can't do that until there is any confirmation or even indication that he will not be playing The Flash after this movie. I can't. I have to swallow my excitement and bury it deep with all my rage and negative emotions. Repress it.

My excitement for this movie is currently impounded. Only DC Studios can release it by confirming that Ezra will not continue past this movie.

@ObserverIO - I feel you on this. Even before the scandals I felt Ezra was miscast, dude looks & acts nothing like Barry allen. I just don't trust WB to make the right call 😒

The extra time they had working on this you would think the CGI would look better🤡

This looks like a PS4 game🤕

Modern day special effects are rough😳

Those leg designs on Calle's costume look very Kirby-inspired.
