THE FLASH Casts Luc Roderique As Modern-Day FIRESTORM 'Jason Rusch'

Though we already have both halves of the fiery DC superhero (Robbie Amell and Victor Garber) cast in the CW show, KSiteTV are reporting that the third incarnation of Firestorm, Jason Rusch, will also be appearing and will be played by Supernatural actor Luc Roderique.

As it stands right now on the CW's The Flash, the plan is to eventually have Robbie Amell’s Ronnie Raymond combine with Victor Garber’s Professor Stein to make Firestorm...but we might be looking at a threesome. According to KSiteTV, Luc Roderique has also been cast as the current DC Comics incarnation of Firestorm, Jason Rusch. He's described as “a graduate student at Hudson University, he was part of Martin Stein’s research team on the F.I.R.E.S.T.O.R.M. project. In the DC comics, Jason takes over the Firestorm matrix after Ronnie Raymond’s death.”. So maybe a nasty end is in store for Raymond on the show, or they'll just take turns or something. Roderique (Godzilla, Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes, Supernatural) is set to appear as Rusch in the tenth episode of The Flash which will air after the mid season break.
