GORILLA GRODD RETURNS TO CENTRAL CITY — Grodd returns to Central City and kidnaps Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker). Barry (Grant Gustin) and team race to find her before it’s too late. Meanwhile, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) plans his first date with the new barista at Jitters, Kendra Saunders (guest star Ciara Renée) and Patty (guest star Shantel VanSanten) begins to suspect Barry is hiding something from her. Dermott Downs directed the episode written by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing.

@TheDarkPassenger I was hoping it would be for at least 2-3 episodes. That way they can help make Cisco more into the VIBE from the comics and maybe show that Barry isn't the only hero.

I have a bit of a theory brewing. They brought on Jay to mentor Barry since he was more seasoned. We layer find out that Jay was working alone and pretty much ran away a lot. I'm thinking Jay will get his speed back and Barry will be the one teaching Jay how to be a proper Hero. Jay will return to Earth 2 and build his own team including earth 2 Green Arrow. I'm assuming he's going to play some type of role in Legends of Tomorrow. It would make sense anyway.

Barry lost his powers for like half an episode. Hardly "dragged out."

The Earth-2 Arrow easter egg was cool, but wouldn't that mean Robert's running around vigilante-ing in his late '50s?
