THE FLASH BATTLES THE MIST, CAITLIN TELLS BARRY ABOUT RONNIE — As Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team at S.T.A.R. Labs work to capture Kyle Nimbus (guest star Anthony Carrigan), a.k.a. The Mist, a dangerous new meta-human with toxic gas powers, they revisit the painful night the particle accelerator exploded and killed Caitlin’s (Danielle Panabaker) fiancé, Ronnie (guest star Robbie Amell). Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse Martin) decides to finally visit Henry (John Wesley Shipp) in jail after all these years, but things take a dangerous turn when Kyle shows up looking to punish Joe for arresting him years ago. Meanwhile, Iris (Candice Patton) and Eddie (Rick Cosnett) continue to hide their relationship from Joe. Jesse Warn directed the episode written by Alison Schapker & Grainne Godfree (#103).

I like how dc is putting their lesser known characters on the CW because we would never see some of these guys in the movies. Its 2 years til BVS so here is a Tv dc universe to tie you over til then. I love this show and Arrow and the others that are coming. i don't care if the universes are seperate im getting more content Tv and movie wise so i have nothing to complain about, unlike some people im glad for what we have and are getting from both companies and i can't wait for the future.

I can't believe I'm actually looking forward to the next episode. Just give me about 90% less "Don't tell Iris/Don't tell Joe/ALL THESE SECRETS ARE TEARING ME APART" and 100% fewer flashbacks to sad/angry little Barry. And more crazt sci-fi shit please.

Fair enough. I'd just prefer they had adult personalities. (Not to mention Flash is easily the most angst-free superhero in serious comics.) That high school soap opera stuff is what keeps me away from Arrow. And I really want to like Arrow. (Not to mention Flash is easily the most angst-free superhero in serious comics.)

I hear you on the soap opera stuff but we have gotten none of that on the Flash. In my opinion, there were excellent character moments delivered last episode. The fact that Joe considers Barry his son and Barry couldn't help but feel like he was being held back for a period. This show isn't angsty, but obviously it will have it's fair share of drama. Every show has to or it gets boring and nothing matters.

Point is, there's a difference between melodrama and ernest drama.

I don't think you have to worry about Flash acting effeminate. Exhibit A, Wentworth Miller (another Miller, lol) is Captain Cold in the Flash show yet he's gay in real life. But does that mean that he's going to prance around effeminately? No, he'll play Captain Cold, just like Ezra will play Barry Allen.

Guys, actors are meant to act. Just because Ezra Miller is gay does not mean that the Flash will be gay because Ezra will be in character.

@barisax yep, ever since I read the leaked script online i've been dying to see it done. I'm really hoping this metahuman prison they're developing on The Flash will become the new Supermax. I also noticed that season 3 Arrow makes Ollie feel like the Ollie in the supermax script. I'm very intrigued.
