As promised, Warner Bros. has just released a new trailer for The Flash and it's packed full of fan-pleasing moments. Michael Keaton's Batman is obviously meant to be the big draw, and the Caped Crusader gets just as much screentime as the Fastest Man Alive (and yes, he says that line).
There are some new moments featuring Supergirl as well, but for the most part, the footage here is relatively familiar thanks to weeks of brief teasers doing the rounds online.
DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn calls The Flash "unbelievably good," while Warner Bros. CEO David Zaslav said the following at CinemaCon earlier today: "I watched The Flash. I've seen it three times. It's a very emotional movie. You're going to go through all the emotions. To me, it's the best superhero movie I've ever seen."
So, better than Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man 2, The Dark Knight, and Black Panther? We'll see. Everyone involved certainly seems to be trying their best to make us think this movie is a masterpiece and those reactions later today should be very interesting.
Check out this new trailer for The Flash below.
Worlds collide in The Flash when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to.
That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian...albeit not the one he's looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry's only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?
The movie stars Ezra Miller, Sasha Calle, Michael Shannon, Ron Livingston, Maribel Verdu, Kiersey Clemons, Antje Traue, and Michael Keaton.
The Flash races into theaters on June 16.
