A new TV spot for The Flash has been released which features even more electrifying footage from the movie.
As well as teasing the impact of Barry Allen's trip back in time, we see a bruised and battered Scarlet Speedster in what could be the movie's take on the Speed Force. Warner Bros. certainly isn't shying away from showing Ezra Miller's face despite the fact the actor's past actions remain a hot-button topic.
There's plenty of Batman and Supergirl as well, of course, with the former still a big selling point for a movie that may or may not set the stage for the new DCU.
The Flash still hasn't hit box office tracking, so we don't know what sort of opening weekend it's going to have. With multiple rounds of reshoots, the budget is likely to be upwards of $250 million, and the studio really can't afford another DC flop after Shazam! Fury of the Gods. Here's hoping those CinemaCon reactions and Tom Cruise's seal of approval can make a difference, eh?
Check out this new look at The Flash below.
Worlds collide in The Flash when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to.
That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian...albeit not the one he's looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry's only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?
The movie stars Ezra Miller, Sasha Calle, Michael Shannon, Ron Livingston, Maribel Verdu, Kiersey Clemons, Antje Traue, and Michael Keaton.
The Flash races into theaters on June 16.
