JOE AND IRIS GET TO KNOW WALLY - Now that they've grown closer, Barry (Grant Gustin) considers telling Patty (guest star Shantel VanSanten) that he is The Flash. Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Iris (Candice Patton) try to get to know Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale), and the team hunts down a meta-human who can slow time itself. Rob Hardy directed the episode written by Bryan Q. Miller (#210).


The Flash returns from its midseason hiatus with "Potential Energy" tonight on the CW.

I'm guessing this is some sort of nightmare sequence or something like they did with Lana on Smallville. I say nightmare sequence because Barry doesn't run to catch her...and I like Smallville because there was an episode where Clark told Lana and because of it, she dies...and then he goes back in time and doesn't tell her...but instead his father dies.

Sometimes I think about going back and giving this show another try, then I watch a clip. How anyone can think Gustin's acting is anything other than atrociously awful is beyond me.

Ah of course, because I criticize something from one brand I'm automatically a "fanboy" fro the other! Look, I think it's crap, end of. Don't give me "it's just a TV show excuse" - there are COUNTLESS Tv shows out there that match movies in terms of overall quality. You can say, ""it's a CW TV show with CW TV dialogue", and to that I'd say fair enough.. that's why I don't watch the CW.

@rormachine I love flash but the show does have problems. The first season was borderline silly with barry not being able to run from smoke, etc. But I still love the show.

I don't like CW, and I think the network its on contributes to the problems.

You know why The Flash is the "Best Comic Book Tv Show"? Because it have a lot of fan-service, this doesnt mean is a good tv show or have good story writing and character development, it only means the show gives the Comic Book Fans what they want...

The Flash is a show with really bad character development, almost all the villains of the show are thiefs, stupid assholes that Zoom manipulates in a bad way, guys searching for power and control or doesnt have any real motivation.

But at less the development of the good guys is okay, to good. The plots are really stupid sometimes and "over use" the McGuffins.

I dont hate the Flash, i really like for what it is and the Flash isnt even close to be good or perfect tv, is around the area of entertaining stuff, full of action and thrill...
