THE CROW Reboot Flies To Another Studio; Gets A New Title In The Process
The planned reboot of The Crow has left Relativity Media for a new studio, and it looks like we finally have an official title. Have director Corin Hardy and star Jason Momoa remained on board the film?
Nobody seems to give a damn about this reboot of The Crow, but Hollywood is still determined to get it off the ground. This latest update comes from THR, who reports that the movie has flown the coop at Relativity Media after the rights were picked up by a consortium of companies (Davis Films, Highland Film Group, and Electric Shadow), and will now be produced by Edward R. Pressman and Davis Films' Samuel Hadida.
The film will now apparently be known as The Crow Reborn.
“I am thrilled to collaborate with this talented team and return the Crow franchise to its roots for a new generation of audiences to enjoy,” Pressman said in a statement.
Last we heard, Corin Hardy was set to helm the project with Justice League's Jason Momoa attached to star, and though it's assumed that's still the case, we don't know for certain. The Crow Reborn is scheduled to commence production next year.
