USA Today has a brand new article devoted to the Thor sequel, and it provides two new images from the film as well as some new information. Thor's last appearance was in The Avengers and while that film brushed over his relationship with Foster with one quick line about her being taken to a safe location, it won't be that simple in this film, according to Hemsworth. "Thor still has lot of explaining to do, and a lot of making up," says Hemsworth. "Even demigods end up in the doghouse, mate. So none of us is safe."

As you can see in the picture above, Jane ain't in Kansas anymore. Thor's earthling girlfriend is headed to Asgard, so that Thor can keep her safe, as her life is in danger. "So while Thor was a fish out of water on Earth in the first two films (Thor and The Avengers), this time Jane is very much a fish out of water in Asgard," says Kevin Feige.

Being a fish out of water might be the least of Jane's troubles as she also has to deal with Thor's disapproving father, Odin (Anthony Hopkins), and competition from Sif (Jaimie Alexander). Love triangle!

THOR: THE DARK WORLD is being directed by Alan Taylor ("Game of Thrones") and will be released November 8, 2013. Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, Natalie Portman, Rene Russo, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Zachary Levi, Jaimie Alexander, Ray Stevenson, Kat Dennings, Christopher Eccleston, and Idris Elba.
