So this movie is going to comically over saturate itself in advertising just like Ironman 2. Great. *roll eyes*

tehdude That was probably me going on about this commercial lol. I rolled over in bed just catching the middle part of it. Been trying to track it down ever since. It's frackin awesome. I like the way the Destroyer has a bit of personality when he turns away.

When a movie has very little promotion and ad tie-ins, it usually falls under the radar. This is reserved for low-budget and modest films that are not made for blockbuster status. Why anyone would complain that THOR's promotions are too much, is kinda silly. People need to know it's a big deal. It's good for business. Duh

@NeoBaggins- it was you! I kept reading your comments thinking "this has to be a hillarious commercial or else... something... (idk, it sounded more intimidating in my mind)." But you were right, and it was pretty funny. AND i agree with you on the promotion. People need to understand that this movie is trying to reach the widest possible audience! I can't believe they're complaining.

One of my favorite Thor commercials yet!

It's funny how people complain about a film not getting adverstised enough but when it does they complain about it beeeing advertised too much.

Make up your damn minds already, geez

Hilarious! SHIELD Agents fighting the Destroyer in the view of the back window of a classy car while a commercial is taking place is hilarious! Humor is lost on the unintelligent...

I'm done posting funny shit for the night. Thanks to all who enjoyed. But on a side note I am feeling blue tonight. I am mourning the passing of some one so [frick]ing great. And the crime is probably not a one of you even no who he was. As I tip my glass and drink tonight I want you all to watch these 2 little videos of one of the greatest guitar players that ever lived. I will even speak blasphemy and just say it, he was BETTER than Hendrix! He made Clapton look like a little school girl! He was one of the 10 best guitar players ever in my opinion. If you aren't wow'ed by the clips from the first or second song, I implore you... watch it all the way through and you'll see something you'll like and be amazed by!

Gary Moore died of a heart attack on Feb. 6th, 2011. He was only 59 years old when he died. I was so [frick]ing shocked that it still is sinking in. Just watch these 2 compilations of his solos and then seek out his entire catalog. As Jack Black would say, he was a Shiny Golden God of guitar. I am missing him tonight, so enjoy! The first one on here sounds so much like Dimebag Darrell from Pantera it's spooky. Because Gary was mostly a blues player at heart. And his Irish roots always shown through in his choice of songs and playing as well. It's not well represented here but he was the master of the soulful, emotional, slow burn on guitar. And he had the most gut wrenching soulful vocals as well!

RacerREX - 4/18/2011, 9:59 PM
He had the emotion in his playing of a Santana, and the technical skill of a Vai or Satriani. The world is a more empty place without him. Godspeed Gary! If you hung in till now then you are being rewarded by the best! If you watched or liked this please comment and let me know he didn't die unloved.

BigThor Exactly. One minute there's not enough promotion and then there's too much wtf?. Like I'm going to complain if a third swimsuit model gets into my bed. If you see a CBM you want to see getting plastered all over your TV before it's release.... this, is, good. Sheesh.

Damn, this shit is sick. I keep forgetting who directed this movie. I love how the hammer hilt slides down Thors hand, then it shows a ground up shot of the hammer coming down before he throws it. This must be an action guy.

darthstern A lot of films start out with a high RT rating, and you have to consider that THOR is being rated three weeks before it's US release. Muthaphuckas is gonna hate. That's what "critics" do; Hate.
