Expected to last up to December, principal photography for Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World has returned to the Royal Naval College set at Greenwich, in London, England. And titular God of Thunder star Chris Hemsworth has been spotted donning his Asgardian Armor, with Mjolnir in-hand once again. This shoot, which'll last for two weeks, is considerably the talk of Greenwich University's campus, at least on Twitter where multiple students have provided photos below.

Marvel Studios’ “Thor: The Dark World” continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel’s “Thor” and “Marvel’s The Avengers,” Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.

Starring Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård, Idris Elba, Christopher Eccleston, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano and Jaimie Alexander with Rene Russo & Anthony Hopkins as Odin, “Thor: The Dark World” is directed by Alan Taylor, produced by Kevin Feige, from a story by Don Payne (credit not final) and screenplay by Christopher Yost and Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely (credit not final) and is based on Marvel’s classic Super Hero Thor, who first appeared in the comic book “Journey into Mystery” #83 in August, 1962. “Thor: The Dark World” is presented by Marvel Studios. The executive producers are Louis D’Esposito, Alan Fine, Stan Lee, Victoria Alonso, Craig Kyle and Nigel Gostelow. The film releases November 8, 2013, and is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

In addition to “Thor: The Dark World”, Marvel Studios will release a slate of films based on more iconic Marvel characters including “Iron Man 3” on May 3, 2013; “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” on April 4, 2014; “Marvel's The Avengers” sequel (title TBA) on May 1, 2015; and “Ant-Man” on November 6, 2015!

What is everybody's obsession with the helmet ? Sif never wears her damn helmet and you don't care, cuz shes cute. Ladies wanna look at Hemsworths face because he is a damn handsome fellow. He doesnt need a helmet anyways his face is a helmet

i actually prefer he doesn't wear the helmet all that much.. i mean in the comics it looks great and its part of his signature costume, but i feel that in live action, it would only be a distraction and no helmet just looks better..

has natalie portman shot any scenes for this yet? i just knew her returning to this franchise would be a problem, although only a slight one.. actors can be so fickle sometimes, seems like that cause she won an oscar, she isn't 100% about being part of these movies now..
