In addition to talking more about the costume, he talks about living up to high expectations, what things are like on set, a little Avengers, and the hammer of Thor. DCMF: Awesome interview I must say myself. It's cool that there weren't much green screen, unlike a certain Avenger filmed last year..lol. I think even behind the scenes is gonna be EPIC itself.

I really hope this continues to capture everything from The incredible Hulk and Iron Man 1 & 2. I am so excited about these movies. Credit to Batman Begins and X-men (1&2) for making these movies realize story, character and "real" actors can make such material perfect.

whedon shouldn't be too bad. he won't be alone making decisions. marvel execs and others will make sure to express what they want to see. whedon has talent, and i doubt he wants to ruin his first big movie.

@ fanboiii i understand he isnot necessarily goin to be alone, but the director is goin to have the majority say so when the film really starts filming, and yes im not sure he doesnt wanna screw up this movie, but this isnt just a big movie, this movie is monumental...just would feel safer with another director.

@silversurfer820 yeah, i was hoping for jj abrams. but, favreau came from doing kids movies, and he did iron man justice. at least whedon has more experience to what the avengers needs. marvel hasn't slipped yet. i trust their choice in whedon.

Wow, great interview and awesome find DCMF! :) Hemsworth comes across as a real cool guy.

Joss Whedon is pretty much confirmed as director now if he's actually sat down and talked with Hemsworth. Good times. Hopefully that'll mean Nathan Fillion as Hank Pym!!!

Good interview. Hearing him talk about it makes me very confident about both him in this role and Branagh as director. I really like that they emphasize that they're trying to make it a story that's about people.
He described the movie's Asgard as a "sci-fi viking mixture" which may be helpful with putting Thor in the pretty sci-fi heavy universe established in the Iron Man movies and The incredible Hulk.

I'm so excited to see this one.
I remember as a kid waiting to see a dentist in the waiting room. I recall looking at a Thor comic and being mesmerized ; I could not even read yet but I was digging it.
Very likely one of the first comics I ever picked up.

It looks like Hemsworth had fun playing Thor and I think that bodes well for this movie.
