UPDATE And now I just asked them on Twitter did Marvel request the boards for the actual film, and they replied:
"@Marvel_Freshman Yes! There is a sporting goods store scene where the boards will be displayed."

MarvelFreshman: If this is true, its pretty clear that when Thor goes to Santa Fe, New Mexico, it'll be snowing. And later in the film, we could see some frost giants on earth rise from the snow, by Loki. I truly can say myself, this is a very good find. What Do You think?
