Hey, I just thought of something: What if, in Thor 2, Loki steals the Infinity Gauntlet for Thanos at the end! That could be the post-credits scene! I mean, we already know that Loki has worked for Thanos before (Avengers). Or maybe Loki wanted it for himself and Thanos gets it in the end? I don't know..... this is just pure speculation.

Right after Selvig mentions he knew a guy which who was the leader in gamma radiation,meaning Bruce Banner, Selvig also says he knows a guy who had some run ins with shield and that he'll email him.Wasn't this an Easter egg towards Hank Pymm?

@jessepostal-- Neither of those references were in the final film, though. Both were only in the shooting script, and wound up on the cutting room floor, so they aren't Easter eggs from "Thor", because they aren't in "Thor".

Though, I really wish they would've kept those lines in. I like Hank Pym.

@superherofan21 your comment got me thinking... what if Loki always intended to be caught and taken back to Asgard as a plan B? Similar to how he intended to be imprisoned by SHIELD in Avengers? Then he steals the gauntlet and gives it to Thanos in exchange for his safety (based on the Other's comment, that if Loki fails there will be no realm he could hide from them)?

@contrast the gamma reference was in the film actually. As for the SHIELD comment, I think it was adapted so Selvig knows who they are when he warns Jane to not argue with them, but he doesn't namedrop anyone in this case.

you missed the Eternal Flame (Surtur's power source), The Warlock's Eye (often mistaken for the Eye of Agamotto), The Tablet of Life, and possibly the Orb of Agamotto.

Also, click CC and select Transcribe Audio when you watch this, it's pretty funny.

@contrast both lines are in the movie,he just doesn't mention either by name. What version are you watching haha

@jessepostal and ACira-- I was mistaken about the gamma reference... I'd forgotten about that... but as I recall, they didn't even mention Banner by name in the shooting script, so that line's identical. However, the film's version of the Pym line isn't a reference to Pym, because it doesn't even imply that he's talking about Pym.

Also, what you're referring to as The Tablet of Life, interestingly enough, also features the words "Those who sit above in shadow" written on it in runes. So, I wonder if they'll be worked into future films...

@contrast.

It doesn't matter if they say his name or not, it is still a reference to Hank Pym. They said really the only words they took out were 'Hank' and 'Pym' so yes, Selvig is still referring to him, he just doesn't say his name.
