Super Hero Hype has spotted and photographed a new Thor billboard in LA which depicts Thor(Chris Hemsworth) throwing Mjolnir across the street.

Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment present the epic adventure, “Thor,” which spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. At the centre of the story is the mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth), a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth by his father Odin (Anthony Hopkins) and is forced to live among humans. A beautiful, young scientist, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), has a profound effect on Thor, as she ultimately becomes his first love. It’s while here on Earth that Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.

Thor hit theaters on May 6, 2011

IT HAS BEGUN!!!!

On my way home from work last night, there it was; two THOR posters in glass cases in the train station. It was the red one with the head shot and "The GOD of THUNDER" on his face. It looks waaaaay more impressive than it does than an online pic.

This billboard(s) is beyond incredible. His hand should have been opened to reflect him throwing the hammer, but, this is definitely MARVEL at their finest.

There are two right next to each other because it's supposed to make it look like Thor has thrown his hammer into the other billboard.

@NeoBaggins lol, "Thor Bus" reminds me of the spider-man ATV and capt. america's speedboat, that we used to have as kids (in the 80's)... I swear I've seen a freddy krueger truck and helicopter once. Not very subtle.

BTW, great billboards. Trying to control my anxiety here.

AklashPahk As kid I used to think those vehicles were weird. They would always make vehicles for characters that didn't need to drive. I had a remote control Spider-man car with the webs on it and stuff. I think today they even make HULK cars. That mother[frick]er can't drive.
