The New can clearly be seen where Malekith has Jane in mid air and you can see something being taken out of her body. Looks like some kind of energy. (Dark energy most likley) this leads back to the story book that was released,revealing that Jane get exposed to dark energy and it some how enters her body in the beginning of the movie

I'm sorry but Jane needs to die, we need some "life at stake", something darker. These superheroes need to find know that there is casualties for the action they take as bring a superhero

Nobody really died in the other Marvel Studio movies, do having Jane died would be something different

Lol "The hype for this movie is zero" Have you not seen all the commercials? And with a month away they will start ramming it down our throats like IM3. Marvel is one of if not the best advertisers in the Movie business right now.

So far Thors helmet in promos for this film seems kind of off to me...his helmet in the first Thor was perfect, they shouldve kept that helmet if they were gonna be using it for promos or if by chance in the film.

"I'll find a way to save us all"

Uh Oh....

Seriously though, I'm happy about the way this film is looking but I honestly feel that Marvel prevented Brannagh from making the first film more like this.

I just hope I ave the option to watch it in 2D

Nobody is excited for that movie?? I was talking to some friends of mine today who have never read a comic book in their life and they were more excited than a little kid on Christmas!!

Marvel's promoting is the best, I mean, my most anticipated movie of 2014 is Guardians of the Galaxy!!! They are brainwashing us!!!!!!

@beto

I don't know about that.....

Remember Rachel Dawes scene with the Joker played on a few Dark Knight tv spots

She end up dying

GinjaNinja - 10/11/2013, 7:09 AM
They won't kill sif. Portman won't come back for a thor three, so its logical to kill her for epicness.

im betting on Sif living, since it looks like she want be doing much again, other than kicking ass and be somewhat jealous of Thor's love for Jane.

They can find and make up plenty of reason for Thor to go back to Earth for Avengers 2
GinjaNinja
GinjaNinja - 10/11/2013, 7:24 AM
Kind of how everyone was more ready for MoS than Iron Man 3.
MsDarkPhoenix
MsDarkPhoenix - 10/11/2013, 7:29 AM
@beto yeah, most of them are like 'omg in November we are going to see both Hemsworths and Hiddleston and Hutcherson they are like so hot blah blah blah'

Btw, I think Jaimie Alexander tweeted an article from cbm about Sif dying saying that she isn't going to die. But I don't really trust anyone after Mandarin...
XelCorp
XelCorp - 10/11/2013, 7:35 AM
In The MCU would Thor actually even visit earth at all if it wasn't for Jane? Let's say Jane dies.. Would Thor even bother to go back to earth anymore? If There were to be no more Jane would he forget about earth,letting humans deal with their own problems and focus on Asgard only?
JoJo1982
JoJo1982 - 10/11/2013, 7:36 AM
@beto

Well it can go down as Jane dies and maybe Thor feels as though he will make it his duty to protect Earth though great threats, much like he said in Thor 1.

Remember he came back to Avengers without even visiting Jane.

I can see Sif not dying in Dark World.... better yet I can see a chick fight between Sif vs Enchantress in Thor 3.

There is soo much you can do with Portman's character, till it becomes so what boring and also Portman really didnt wanna played the character again, since Jenkins left the project awhile back
MsDarkPhoenix
MsDarkPhoenix - 10/11/2013, 7:38 AM
@beto I agree with you on both Jane surviving and the FANgirls. They are fangirls not girl audience cause I'm a girl too but I'm not doing like this! Ok maybe sometimes... BUT I CAN CONTROL IT!!!

TheWolverine08 - 10/11/2013, 7:40 AM
Yeah, Thor and Loki aren't rocking the helmets because the fangirls need to be able to drool over them :D

Agent Coulson: Donald? I don't think you've been completely honest with me.

Thor: Know this, son of Coul. You and I, we fight for the same cause: the protection of this world. From this day forward, you can count me in as your ally, if... you return the items you have taken from Jane.

so you think they didnt return the items back to Jane???
JoJo1982
JoJo1982 - 10/11/2013, 7:51 AM
i have a feeling she's gonna make it in this movie

what else can you do with Jane's character after the events in Dark World

Natalie Portman isnt interested in playing the character again

Dumegg
Dumegg - 10/11/2013, 7:53 AM
Thor protects all the nine realms. He happens to have a soft
Spot for midguard. Jane may be a small part in that but when thor
Was not with jane in the comics, he still protected earth.
MsDarkPhoenix
MsDarkPhoenix - 10/11/2013, 7:58 AM
@JoJo1982 I believe it was at the Disney Expo when they were interviewing Natalie and they told her that Anthony Hopkins would love to do Thor 3 and she answered that she thinks that there will be a Thor 3. Why would Marvel share such information with her if she was dying in this one??
XelCorp
XelCorp - 10/11/2013, 7:59 AM
@beto Iwhat kind of confuses me is that the asgardian once stood along side humans to go up agains the frost giants in Norway. In the beginning of the first Thor film Odin in a voice over said that humanity would not face their threats alone and that they restore peace in the universe.. Why would they now forget about earth and all of humanity?
JoJo1982
JoJo1982 - 10/11/2013, 8:03 AM
@Beto

yeah true at the beginning he did it for Jane but i think Marvel studio are going to change that up and have it be much like him appearing in cartoons and comics on Earth.

They cant have every movie with Thor in it(dealing with Earth) have to do with Jane.
JoJo1982
JoJo1982 - 10/11/2013, 8:04 AM
@DarkPhoenix

She said She thinks there is going to be a Thor 3

Not she is appearing in Thor 3
JoJo1982
JoJo1982 - 10/11/2013, 8:09 AM
@Beto

Thor wasnt protecting Earth for Jane in Avengers

He said a few times in Avengers that Earth is under his protection

Its not always about Jane, Thor has a feel that its his duty to protect for the humans on Earth. If it was just about Jane then at the end of Avengers he would've just picked her up on the way dropping off Loki.

Jane=expendable
GinjaNinja
GinjaNinja - 10/11/2013, 8:23 AM
She said it as in "I think THEY are doing a third one" Not WE. She said THINK as well.
JoJo1982
JoJo1982 - 10/11/2013, 8:28 AM
@beto

Well I would believe the studios are saying where else can Thor and Jane relationship go after Thor 2...... *crickets*

[frick] it! How about we kill her in this 1 and FINALLY put Sif in the picture and then introduce Enchantress while we at it
GinjaNinja
GinjaNinja - 10/11/2013, 8:29 AM
they are showing the 3rd realm in TDW. Realm of the Dark elves. Asguard protects all the realms. The He cam to put an end to loki's scemes. He never even visited Jane in the Avengers. so no it wasn't all about her. Earth is under his protection, not for jane but because he cares for the world.
GinjaNinja
GinjaNinja - 10/11/2013, 8:33 AM
A. Teenage boys to 30 year old men are the biggest cash cow for action movies. So you will want to make it "Epic" and dramatic. Killing a girl will give that.

B. It follows the comics more to have him love sif.

C. Portman doesn't want to do a third Thor.

D. Girls will like the fighting warrior to fall in love with thor than the scientist that doesn't do much anyway.

Not a lot of reasons to keep her around, they had to FORCE her to come on for the second Thor film.
JoJo1982
JoJo1982 - 10/11/2013, 8:34 AM
@beto I dont think they worrying about fangirls too much

I mean Sony isnt worry about killing off Gwen Stacy in Amazing Spiderman(now that movie was trying get the fangirls) in the future, then bring in Mary Jane. So why shouldnt Marvel studios worry about Jane in Thor

Thor better talk to Batman about studios killing off love interest
