the gameplay looks awesome but the graphic needs to be worked on heavily, marvel should follow the batman games the graphics in that is so bloody crisp definitely buying this though

First off, I would like to say that SEGA is the one responsible for this crap. Marvel has literally nothing to do with this. SEGA is the FOX to Marvel's movie based games.

Secondly, name ONE movie game that turned out decent. Most movie games are utter shit. Thor is a movie game. Batman: Arkham City is a stand-alone title. When Marvel makes stand-alone titles, they turn out pretty damn sweet. X-Men Legends, The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, and Marvel Ultimate Alliance were all [frick]ing awesome games. And I, for one, am really looking forward to Marvel vs. Capcom 3, X-Men: Destiny, and of course.... MARVEL UNIVERSE ONLINE!!

Tough to say because we havent seen gameplay from arkham, but Marvel seems to be losing on the gaming end of the spectrum.

I wont comment to much on this game but safe to say its no way near Batman Arkham Asylum. I am not into the whole thing by judging a game by its trailer, and I dont know Thor but that seemed like a kinda weird game.

I believe that Marvel made the deal with SEGA before Iron Man was even in theaters. The contract said they would make games based off of Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, and Captain America. It was set in stone before the latter movies were even in development. The good news is that SEGA is only making games that are based off the films. I could care less about movie adaptations no matter who's making them. They always suck.

Im not lookin forward to this or the Captain America game. Why doesn't Marvel just give the rights to Capcom and leave Sega alone? Smh. I guess they don't read fan reviews of the games they come out with. Smdh.

two comments

1) if thor doesn't have his helmet on for a VIDEO GAME then it's a sure bet that thor will only have his helmet on for a couple of scenes in the movie.

2) the narration of the games says the hammer has the power of the storm so you can bet the movie is going to link all of thor's powers to the hammer when in the comics THOR has the power of the storm and only uses mjolnir (thor's hammer) to focus that power.
written on the the is 'whosoever lifts this hammer if he be worthy shall possess the power of 'THOR', it doesn't say shall possess the power of 'MJOLNIR'.

Marvel Universe Online was revived again when Marvel made a deal with Gazillion Entertainment. It's gonna happen. And the reason Champions Online isn't doing so well is because Cryptic Studios is focusing all their attention on City of Heroes, which just happens to be their brainchild. It's kind of a good thing that Cryptic dropped the project imo, although I LOVE City of Heroes.

As for X-Men Destiny, it sounds like it's going to have a strong narrative. It's an RPG after all, and strong narratives are the essential for an RPG. So far we know that you get to play as your own mutant and become either an X-Men or a Brotherhood. That's freaking sweet! Sounds to me like the FABLE of superhero games!

What I don't understand is why you try to sound as if Marvel doesn't make good story-driven games. All I have to say to that is Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Seriously, that game boasts the strongest story of any superhero game out there. It's one of my all-time favorite games. If story is what you want, then MUA is the game for you.

great trailer but as all of us are saying not as good as Batman Arkham City...then again they've been working on this less than a year and Arkham City is well over a year plus 4-6 months extra on the release date...that's what happens with movie based games they don't get the time they need to make it as good as the other games...
