New THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER Promo Banner Spotlights Jane Foster As The Mighty Thor

While we (im)patiently wait for that first trailer, a new promo banner for Marvel Studios' Thor: Love and Thunder has found its way online, giving us another look at Jane Foster as The Mighty Thor.

Still no sign of a trailer, but we do have a pretty cool new promo banner for Taika Waititi's Thor: Love and Thunder featuring Chris Hemsworth's Odinson leaping into action alongside Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) armored-up as the MCU's new Mighty Thor.

The artwork is quite similar to what we saw on some tie-in cinema cups earlier this week, though this is obviously a much higher-quality image.

Speaking of that elusive trailer, Thor 4 has actually broken the record for the shortest gap in time between a Marvel Studios movie's first teaser and the film's theatrical release. As far as we're aware, this is also the only time a movie's press tour has kicked-off without so much as a single official still being shared online.

The trailer is expected to screen ahead of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in theaters, but we await an ETA for an online debut.

Thor 4 plot details are still under wraps, but we know the story will revolve around the Odinson's old flame (Portman) transforming into The Mighty Thor. Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) and members of the Guardians of the Galaxy will also be on hand, with Christian Bale taking on villain duties as Gorr the God Butcher. Peter Dinklage recently hinted that he'd also be back as Eitri the Dwarf.

Russell Crowe let slip that he'll be playing Zeus last year, while Matt Damon and Sam Neill have also been confirmed to return as "Fake Loki" and "Fake Odin" for (presumably) a stage re-cap of the events of Ragnarok.

Thor: Love and Thunder is set to hit theaters on July 8.

There is speculation that the trailer may debut on Monday.

SN: waiting for the Thor Jason Aaron omnibus to come out. Read the first couple of arcs, which were great. Ready to continue on after that.

Why is there a female Thor? Is this a pandering like SJW thing? Because I thought Thor was a Norse god and son of Odin?

@TheVengeance - Spoken like a true virgin.

It's a reference to the comics.

Touch grass.

@TheVengeance - do all clowns use the same 4-5 buzzwords? Sjw, pandering, woke.

Do you have semblance of identity on your own?

@Mysterion - Maybe they wanted to give Strange 2 some breathing room for 1-2 weeks before hyping the next movie.

Part of me wonders if they’re putting off marketing this movie because they know any trailer they release will be picked apart by the “WOKE DISNEY MAKES THOR A WOMAN!” clickbait outrage YouTubers, who aren’t aware that there’s precedence for this in the comics.
