A new piece of Marvel Cinematic Universe promo art has found its way online, and while we can't say for sure whether it's the real deal, it certainly appears to be. Making use of those recently revealed shots of the God of Thunder and the Mighty Thor from Taika Waititi's Thor: Love and Thunder, the former has found himself a helmet...and it's absolutely awesome.
The fact that Thor rarely wears a helmet in the MCU has been a real sticking point for some fans over the years. He briefly donned one in 2011's Thor and even rocked some alien headgear for that battle with The Hulk in Thor: Ragnarok. This effort, however, has been torn straight from the comic books; as you can see from the banner image, Waititi is taking a lot of inspiration from Walt Simonson.
Ms. Marvel can be seen over to the left, but the biggest talking point thus far on social media is what many believe could be a first look at the MCU's new Black Panther from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
The purple and black costume looks a little different to what the late Chadwick Boseman wore as T'Challa, and if that is his replacement, it appears to be a male character in the suit. Going back to Thor, and the sooner we see him head into action wearing that blue and gold costume, the better. A trailer can't be too far off now we're in 2022.
Thor: Love and Thunder is set to blast into theaters on July 8!
