Chris Hemsworth On THOR Vs HULK In RAGNAROK And Contract Re-Up After INFINITY WAR

Before revealing whether or not he'd renegotiate his Marvel contract after Avengers: Infinity War, Chris Hemsworth talks here for the first time about returning as the God of Thunder alongside Mark Ruffalo's Hulk in Thor: Ragnarok, and who'll win in the inevitable battle.

With Mark Ruffalo set to reprise his Avengers: Age of Ultron role as Bruce Banner aka Incredible Hulk in Chris Hemsworth's third solo outing as the God of Thunder, Thor: Ragnarok, we're bound to see the two superheroes bump heads once again. And while the Jade Giant has got the best of the Asgardian in their past scuffles, Hemsworth thinks the tables will turn in his 2017 Marvel threequel.

"I'd like to think I let him win last time, but because this movie is called Thor, I have to win this time," Chris Hemsworth told the New York Daily News while promoting In the Heart of the Sea. The Aussie actor failed to give any details on how Bruce Banner's angry alter-ego will come into the picture, but he does look forward to acting opposite Mark Ruffalo once again. "I hope it's a Butch Cassidy (and the Sundance Kid") sort of story," he said, referring to a 1969 buddy western. "That would be fun. I love Mark. I think those two characters haven't spent a whole lot of time talking to each other on screen (so far in the Marvel movies) , so it's something new, I think it would bring something different out of the characters. It's hard to have a conversation with the Hulk."

Finally, Hemsworth was asked about potentially renewing his contract with Marvel Studios given his original multi-picture deal will be fulfilled after the massive two-part Avengers: Infinity War event. "Contractually that will finish me up, I have to see how I feel at the end of them, it's still a while away," he said before joking that he'd like to see a fourth Thor movie explore the Odinson letting himself go physically. "Ask me in three films time," Hemsworth added. What do you think?

Starring Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Jaimie Alexander, Ray Stevenson, Anthony Hopkins, and Mark Ruffalo, Thor: Ragnarok is currently being scripted by Christopher Yost and Craig Kyle with Taika Waititi set to direct, and the movie scheduled to release in theaters on November 3, 2017.

Yeah, it's hard to say how you will feel years from now especially when you have three movies to film before then.

If Hemsworth doesn't want to keep getting cut for these films, they could just increase his armor and age Thor. You think Sir Anthony Hopkins got ripped to play Odin? They could give Hemsworth a similar type role where he appears for five minutes as the ruler of Asgard. Fans get their fix, he gets a preposterous paycheck for very little time AND he gets to "stretch" as an actor doing other stuff.

Or, that which is much more likely, they can simply re-cast.

The Thor movies need a total creative reshuffling of the deck.

Why are fights between the superheroes the most advertised and biggest thing in superhero movies nowadays?

So Hulk is in Ragnarok. Great. But that shouldn't be the biggest thing to hype about. I want the actors and cast to talk about what may happen in the movie, about the main villain and how we should be hyped up for them, about what Loki will be like in this movie, how this film will impact the MCU etc. If these guys want something interesting to talk about and a way to really hype fans up, it shouldn't be with the same superhero fights that happen in nearly every single marvel movie.

LOL... I said the same thing when it comes to Thor in the Avengers shooting crazy lightening at the Chitari flying wormhole monsters... He could totally end a fight pretty quick with anyone if he leads with that.

My only real beef with Thor was how in the Dark World Kurse was handing Thor his @ss when really you would think Thor would put up a better fight.
