A pretty significant chunk of Thor: Ragnarok was spent of Sakaar and it's fair to say that world was unlike any other we've seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The home of The Grandmaster, it was in equal parts wacky and wonderful and also the location of a gladiatorial arena which saw the "Lord of Thunder" square off with The Incredible Hulk in arguably one of the best MCU action scenes ever.

Now, artist Tom Whalen has shared the cast and crew poster he illustrated for the movie and while it doesn't feature characters like Loki and Hela, it does a great job of putting the spotlight on Sakaar!

Unfortunately, it's highly unlikely this will ever be sold to the general public so you'll have to make do with liking it on our Instagram page and downloading the hi-res version below that to use as a wallpaper on your phone! What do you think about this Thor: Ragnarok poster? Sound off below.

When i first saw Ragnarok i was a bit turned off by the humor and light tone. But watching it the second time i was really drawn in by the eventful adventure and the drama with hela and style and energy, and its my favorite marvel film (1st equal with thor and winter soldier). Hemsworth just has such effortless charm as a jocular thor, i've really grown to like him. I also like the way Taika makes him look foolish at times, its really endearing. The frenemyship with hulk was cool, and so was his conflict with Valkyrie, who lost her sisterhood trying to fix Odins mistake and was jaded against helping thor. I really wish marvel would do a follow up to it, but its such a huge story that it's almost impossible to top. Ironman and cap deserve sequels as well, as we still haven't seen the real mandarin yet.

@Presto76 - i think each time marvel throws in something that shocks people... IM2 drunk scene, IM3 dancing scene, IM3 Mandarin/terrorist, Ragnarok humor, etc... it takes a while to sink in.

I like that Marvel keeps taking the heroes out of the expected situations and puts them in something foreign. I think it shows growth to the audience and the actor gets to evolve the character as well.

No doubt if Tony Stark never evolved beyond who he was in IM1 the universe would be a much different and predictable place. If RDJ never got to ad-lib the line "i am iron man" it would have been even more predictable.
