Marvel Studios has just announced via the Thor Facebook page that Thor: The Dark World will be available February 4 via Digital HD and can be purchased February 25 on Blu-Ray Combo Pack and DVD. Amazon is now taking pre-orders. Below is cover art and a trailer for the Blu-Ray Combo Pack.

So is the 3-D combo pack the only option for Blu-Ray? The Wolverine's extended cut was a no worry for me but I'm a bit puzzled on this one.

japan gets the cinema release in february the rest of the world gets it on blu-ray.

How can this be on DVD so quickly? They might as well let me what the movie on my X-Box 360 the moment it gets released in theaters. That way, I never have to buy any of that ridiculously overpriced food (I usually don't, but still.)
