THOR: THE DARK WORLD Concept Art Reveals Comic Accurate And Much Cooler Alternate Versions Of Malekith
Christopher Eccleston suited up as the villainous Dark Elf Malekith in Thor: The Dark World and it turns out that he could have looked a whole lot cooler - and comic book accurate - in the Marvel sequel...
Marvel Studios has a stellar track record but many fans agree that they stumbled somewhat with Thor: The Dark World back in 2013. Despite that, the Alan Taylor helmed sequel has a score of 66% on Rotten Tomatoes and it grossed over $644 million at the worldwide box office.
Regardless of whether you loved or hated the movie, we're now taking a look at some of the artwork which was used to bring Asgard and its many inhabitants to life after Kenneth Branagh's first instalment (mostly) kept things grounded here on Midgard.
In this latest round of concept art from The Dark World, we take a look at the villain played by Christopher Eccleston: Malekith the Accursed. The actor hated his time working on the Marvel Studios release and much of that is down to the make-up he was forced to wear (which took ages and looked, well, rubbish). However, he could have looked so much better based on this artwork!
