Excitement all around the globe today when the screenwriter for the upcoming dreamworks movie Tintin was announced.

The Tintin movie which follows on from the comic strip of the same name is set to be penned by none other than Steven Moffat, who has been busy writing for the TV Series Doctor Who and Jekyll.

Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg will be directing with Kathleen Kennedy serving as producer of the state of the art movie, which will be made using performance-capture technology and produced in digital 3-D.
