I'm not sure about this movie yet, but I do like their approach: starting over with a smaller human cast.

And hopefully there will be fewer black stereotypes in this film. I swear Michael Bay must be racist.

I saw that "Dark Side of the Moon" one on cable last week finally. Whoo... that was bad. What's odd is that it had the exact same climax as "The Avengers", with better visuals (taken in snippets), and yet with so much less impact it's shocking how inept it was.

There was a scene where Lebouf shot his Zelda-style hookshot into some robot's eye, then the robot thing thrashed about flinging him around for what seemed like forever, and then finally another actor grabs Lebouf and... they both get swung around as the random pile of metallic bits thrashes around some more. It wasn't thrilling, it wasn't scary, it wasn't funny... but I'll be damned if it didn't cost a fortune to do and took up a fair amount of battle time, so I'm sure Bay found it important for some reason.
