I lost faith in this movie when I saw that picture of Optimus riding a dinobot. As with the last 2, this film is looking like an action figure marketing tool.

Well I will take a guess that 5 & 6 will happen then. These movies are not deep films but that does not mean they aren't fun. People really seem to like them. So there will be more sequels.

Now how about some news on a Robotech movie. That could be cool.

Please don't let Bay come back. Get somebody new. This franchise is in desperate need of flesh blood.

Bay has redeemed himself slightly by bringing in the Dinobots but you better give me Unicron, Bay.

I could have PREDICTED this news...........as crappy and cheesy as those movies were, people love to see giant robots having well choreographed fights and destroying tall buildings....

BlackIceJoe, you called it! Man, a Robotech movie with the SFX of Pacific Rim? That would be crazy. make me a Voltron movie that will erase the stain of Power Rangers films from my memory and my life will be complete...

These movies suck, but they're an ATM for Paramount and Hasbro. The sequels will happen, and guess what? TRANSFORMERS/G.I. JOE cross-over movie.

See for all the nerds ragging on Marvel for their humor, they make terrific "toy movies." Contrast them with say Hasbro and well, they don't exactly stand up to Marvel to say the least.

Transformers will become Hollywood's Call Of Duty. Movies that are so bad, but sadly get a lot of money. :(

I find it odd how people complain about the quality of these movies when in reality, Transformers has really only ever existed to sell toys, so it's not like we need to expect something really deep and meaningful.
TheRationalNerd
TheRationalNerd - 11/17/2013, 12:49 PM
Transformers 5 and 6 could easily focus on Cybertron, Starscream's return/Galvatron and Unicron for 6!

I don't know guys... do you think we'll see Optimus pull the plug in one of these sequels??

One thing that I'm really, really, really, really hoping to see is more "combination" transformations! I think the idea of having Optimus, Bee or any other autobots combining into one is so bad a**!! They can do a LOT with two more films. They just have to get the stories off of earth!!! lol
Enphlieuwince
Enphlieuwince - 11/17/2013, 2:27 PM
@TheBlackNerd, wow I didn't know that they could combine. I'd pay to see that shit without hesitation. But, IT MUST be better than Devastator. It was cool IMO, but, it was NOT Devastator.

What we got:

And I must admit I haven't seen it in a while and it's more impressive than I remember, but, the way they were designed, it's hard to make out what you're looking at normal to high speed. Yeah, but this was intimidating nonetheless.

What I expected:

Yeah, his arm does look a little smaller than it should be this fanmade pic, especially in contrast to what we ended up seeing. I don't know why I expected anything close to this considering the drastic designs we had already seen, but, it would have been nicer to see something more in between these two looks.

As long as the Bayverse continues, then I don't care if they make any more or not.

Bring in somemone new, with brand new, non-junkyard designs, and then I might care again.
