Larry Kurzweil, President, Universal Studios Hollywood, said: "TRANSFORMERS represents a perfect match for our theme park: an exhilarating blockbuster, non-stop action and astonishing special effects. It has all the elements to become one of the world’s most dynamic theme park thrill rides and a centerpiece attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood.”

Mark Woodbury, President, Universal Creative, said: “We’ve pushed the boundaries of 3D, hyperrealism and immersive visual effects to transport our guests, physically and viscerally, into the world of TRANSFORMERS. Our collaboration with the immensely talented director Michael Bay as the ride’s Creative Consultant has been extraordinary. With his blockbuster film making capabilities, Universal Studios Hollywood has created an original TRANSFORMERS story that taps into the real heart of these bigger-than-life characters and delivers an epic ride experience of a lifetime that will thrill guests from around the world.”

Tbh (other than the 1st) these films would have been much more enjoyable as rides and not 2 hour "films". Condense the explosions and robot fights and save us the agony of watching Bay's clear disdain for his own characters...

The Transformers ride is an exact copy of the Spider-Man ride at Islands of Adventure. All they did was replace the Spider-man audio and video with Transformers.

Even if it's exactly like Spiderman, that would still be awesome!! The Spiderman ride is wicked cool! I am desperately hoping they build a Transformers Ride in Orlando! They closed Jaws and have yet to announce what is going in it's place. That would be the perfect addition!

BuckyCap, you are right, just like the Spider Man ride with the water and heat. I'm sure you fall off a building too. I'm sure it's an awesome ride, but they act like it is something that has never been done before.

I went on this ride....Meh... I wish it was more Disneyland style animatronics. I'm tired of the 3-D ride bullshit

As long as Michael Bay had no say in the making of this ride, I might try it.
