Amazon Prime Video has shared the first look at Kay Cannon's upcoming Cinderella, with images of Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Camila Cabello making her feature film debut as the titular heroine along with Nicholas Galitzine (The Craft: Legacy; Share) as her Prince Charming.
They've also announced that the film, which will incorporate pop songs from contemporary global artists and original songs by Cabello and Idina Menzel (Enchanted; Frozen), will open in over 240 countries and territories this September.

Producer James Corden and the filmmaking team have taken this beloved fairytale and revamped it with a fresh, empowering perspective that will resonate with audiences and families around the world. We couldn't be more excited for our global customers to sing and dance along to director Kay Cannon's reimagination of this classic story."
In addition to Cabello and Galitzine, the supporting cast consists of Billy Porter, Idina Menzel, Pierce Brosnan, Minnie Driver, Maddie Baillio, Charlotte Spencer, John Mulaney, James Corden, Romesh Ranganathan, Missy Elliott, Tallulah Greive, Luke Latchman, Fra Fee, Beverley Knight, and Marry Higgins.
Cannon (Blockers; 30 Rock) served as writer and director on the project, which is based on the classic fairy tale of the same name and will showcase covers of songs written by some of the top-selling musical artists of all time.
Cinderella is a musically-driven bold new take on the traditional story you grew up with. Our heroine (Cabello) is an ambitious young woman, whose dreams are bigger than the world will allow, but with the help of her Fab G (Billy Porter), she is able to persevere and make her dreams come true.
