Before we catch up with Billy Butcher and his crew's continuing efforts to take out The Seven in the fourth season of The Boys, we'll be introduced to an all-new group of characters in Prime Video's spin-off show, Gen V.

The series is set to premiere this September (an exact date has not been announced), and the streamer has shared some new footage via the following teaser video, which also includes shots from the current season of Jack Ryan, the second season of The Wheel of Time, the new Mr. And Mrs. Smith series, and more.

Showrunner Eric Kripke recently hyped up Gen V as being even more depraved than The Boys (which may seem hard to believe), so hopefully a full trailer will give us a better idea of the carnage to come.

"Set at America’s only college exclusively for young adult superheroes (run by Vought International), Gen V explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the school’s top ranking."

Gen V stars Jaz Sinclair, Patrick Schwarzenegger , Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway, Shelley Conn, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, Sean Patrick Thomas, Marco Pigossi, Clancy Brown, Alexander Calvert, and Jason Ritter.

Hmmph. Not sure how I feel about this. I really like The Boys, but I hope they don't spinoff/prequel/sequel it to death like they do most successful things in Hollyweird.

Anyone seeing the final season of Jack Ryan so far?

I’m behind a couple of episodes but so far , it’s been good for the most part though S1 still is the best imo

1. S1
2. S3
3. S2

@TheVisionary25 - Might start considering there won't be much new to watch on TV for a while. To see if I can find new little things to get invested in.

I might have to wait a bit before my mom is done watching it, she loves it already.

That image is from Wheel of Time not Gen V. While it was featured in the teaser, it’s not the subject of this article.

Love the boys, but anything dealing with teenagers is just [frick]ing annoying.

I am more interesting in seeing some footage of The Boys Season 4, Kripke actually pulling a spinoff from this after all the meta criticism of other franchises because Amazon asked for it to keep milking this project isn't the right creative freedom look and I'm just personally not in the mood for more Supes debauchery. With Homelander is more than enough.

While the show is always entertaining and one of my favourite series to look forward to every few years, Homelander is the real reason behind that. The debauchery side of it is fun but it’s just killing time til Homelander’s scenes and conflicts with the heroes come back on. In all honesty the other characters in the show aren’t nearly as interesting. I don’t think this spinoff will be a big success without Antony Starr. One of the most magentic and frightening villains ever. I constantly want him to be killed, but then the show wouldn’t have him!
Would love an ending to a season where they beat him by taking his powers and imprisoning him, and the following season deals with a human homelander being used to get intel on Vaught. Would be so interesting seeing an all powerful egomaniac psycho deal with getting pulled down to earth.
