Following last month's red band teaser, Prime Video has finally debuted a full trailer for the upcoming third season of The Boys, and while it's not quite as violent, there's still plenty of blood 'n guts on display!
This sneak peek also gives us a much better idea of what to expect from the season, as the now completely unstable Homelander decides to show the world who he really is... and his supporters are perfectly fine with it! Meanwhile, the now "reformed" Billy Butcher is drawn back into the fray when Queen Maeve offers him the chance to take his nemesis out for good by injecting some Compound V and "suping-up" for 24 hours.
Mother's Milk warns him against it, but the team is going to need any advantage they can find when Soldier Boy arrives on the scene and unleashes what appear to be nuke-level powers.
Check out the trailer below along with a trio of new posters.
Season 2 of The Boys ended with the death of Butcher's wife and the apparent disbanding of the team. We know they will reunite, however, most likely in attempt to bring down the increasingly psychotic Homelander. Queen Maeve was able to blackmail her rage-fuelled leader into backing off in the finale, but actor Anthony Starr has already confirmed that he will really let loose in Season 3.
It's also been confirmed that the highly controversial Herogasm comic book arc will be adapted, and showrunner Eric Kripke has hinted that the episode will be every bit as depraved as the comic.
Season 3 of The Boys is set to premiere on June 3.
