The Boys will premiere on Amazon Prime this Friday, and just in case you're still on the fence about whether to tune in or not, we have one final trailer for you to take a look at. Be warned, this is just as NSFW as the last one.

This latest look at the show does give us a better idea of the plot, however, as Hughie (Jack Quaid) joins up with Billy Butcher and his team of vigilantes to seek revenge for the death of his girlfriend at the hands (well, feet) of a member of The Seven: a group of amoral, highly destructive superheroes.

When Hughie randomly encounters the newest member of the team, Starlight (Erin Moriarty), he devises a plan to infiltrate The Seven.

Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think. Will you be joining The Boys this Friday?

In a world where superheroes embrace the darker side of their massive celebrity and fame, The Boys centers on a group of vigilantes known informally as "the boys," who set out to take down corrupt superheroes with no more than blue collar grit and a willingness to fight dirty.

The Boys is set to premiere on July 26. The show hails from Supernatural creator and Timeless co-creator Eric Kripke, Preacher‘s Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen, and Sony Pictures TV.

Metacritic score's pretty strong for this (72), so I'll give it a try. Jack Quaid's a charismatic guy.

Also, big year for deconstructing superheroes on TV between this and Watchmen

I think this looks pretty appealing. I've also put a whole season of Happy! in my brain over the last few days, so my sense of what constitutes "appealing" might be somewhat skewed.

I'm actually very excited for this show, can't wait for Friday. The cast alone is amazing.

Much better than the first trailer, which just looked gratuitous. Might give this a go. It is an interesting concept

I loved Anthony Starr in Banshee. Hopefully this is good.

This trailer seemed better because it showed us how this guy Hughie was hurt by The Seven's reckless actions and it makes us relate a bit to him to see him get back at them. The other ones just showed us Karl Urban being angry at them for no reason so this trailer actually sells out a decent motive.

If I have time I will try to watch it.

I've had Amazon Prime for at least a year for the free shipping and never activated the part that gives me access to shows or movies. I need to figure that out before this weekend.

This looks like a pretty good time! If Karl Urban can't be Dredd again then it's good to see him kicking more ass in a different fashion!
