Yesterday, The Boys star Karl Urban revealed that he'd finished filming his scenes for the fourth season of the Prime Video series, giving us a first look at the mysterious character played by The Walking Dead alum Jeffrey Dean Morgan in the process.
Showrunner Eric Kripke soon followed-up by announcing that the season had fully wrapped, and we now have some more behind-the-scenes photos courtesy of the show's official Twitter account.
These shots feature most of The Boys themselves along with a couple of members of The Seven (quite a few of them are blood-splattered, of course), as well as new recruit Valorie Curry, who will be playing a Supe named Firecracker.
Season 4 plot details are a mystery for now, but Billy Butcher's secret (he's dying from overuse of Temp-V) is sure to cause a rift with the rest of the team. Homelander is also likely to be on an even more destructive path after murdering a protestor in full view of the public... and being cheered for it.
Along with Morgan and Curry, Susan Heyward is on board as Sister Sage, and Cameron Crovertti (Ryan) has been upped to series regular, which is hardly surprising after the sinister final shot of season 3.
Kripke recently confirmed that The Boys will not finish up after four seasons
