THE BOYS Releases Hilarious PSA Video "Out-Takes" Featuring Jensen Ackles' Soldier Boy - NSFW

Last night, the official The Boys Twitter account shared a fun PSA video featuring Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) delivering an important message to America's youth on the dangers of doing drugs. Later, a follow-up Tweet revealed that "Frenchie got his hands on the version Vought didn’t want ya to see," and we have a look at those hilarious "out-takes" right here.

This version shines a light on the real Soldier Boy: a misogynistic, misanthropic asshole with no consideration or concern for anyone around him - including his own teammates. Still, he was a genuine hero back in the day(?), and, as he's fond of reminding everyone at any given opportunity, even stormed the beach at Normandy with the rest of the USA's brave freedom fighters.

He also happens to be one of the most formidable supes the world has ever seen, which piques Billy Butcher's interest for a very specific reason.

Yes, Soldier Boy is headed for a showdown with Homelander, but will things play out the way Butcher, Hughie, MM, Frenchie and Kimiko are expecting? Tune in for the first three episodes of The Boys season 3 on Prime Video this Friday to find out.

Jensen Ackles is always fun to watch. I really want to see more projects with him now "Supernatural" is over.

When Soldier Boy fans find out he is a fraud...

My favourite part was the one of how he's the most uncool mother effer for taking drugs.

But the part where he asks about who approved of the entire thing and the answer is Stan Edgar it makes me wonder just how old is Giancarlo Esposito's character? Soldier Boy is supposed to be a war hero so how much young was Edgar back in the day when this was done and Soldier Boy wasn't in stasis? Maybe he's also taken some of Compound-V and his power is longevity?

Also wondering what happens first: Butcher getting that sample of Compound-V (if it is even that) or The Boys releasing Soldier Boy which looks like will make things more complicated than they anticipated.

@NinnesMBC - I was thinking the same thing, but Esposito was born in 58 or 59, so he's mid 20s in the early 80s which is what this clip is going for. Easy stretch for some mid-level PR flack and plenty of time to continue to work his way up the corporate ladder all the way to the top.

@dmac3232 - I suppose it could be like that and I'm overthinking it. Part of me thought that Edgar would have some kind of ensurance from all of these Supes that he manages around just in case. Maybe S3 will flesh more his past.
