If you guessed Dwight, you were right.

The nemesis of Daryl and ex-Savior who left the main series after the "All Out War" storyline is set to make another appearance in the Walking Dead universe, but this time he'll be joining Morgan on the Fear the Walking Dead.

It seems that Morgan actor Lennie James, who has commited to another season, will be joined by his old cast-mate in the series as they look to make the world habitable again.

Below, Showrunner Ian Goldberg comments on the decision to fold Dwight into the Fear the Walking Dead universe.

As it was with Morgan, we will never do [crossovers] indiscriminately. It's all true to the story and what the greater narrative we're trying to tell is. Last season going into this one is a lot about redemption. One thing we saw Dwight do a lot of on The Walking Dead, was he did a lot of bad things in his time. He was a bad dude for quite a while. But, he was someone who had lost a great deal and was motivated by his love for [his wife] Sherry so we're going to see him wrestling with that this season on the show. We don't want to say too much about the story, but his arc very much lines up with the things that some of our other characters are struggling with. It's exciting to play on this shared history between Dwight and Morgan, as both have been in The Walking Dead, but also just to see how fans are going to react. People seem very excited by the fact that he and Morgan are going to be reunited.

What do you think of this development, and what do you hope to see in season 5? Let us know below!

Methinks they should discuss ending the show instead of bringing in previous actors as a desperation attempt to boost ratings...

@L0RDbuckethead - I quit this show after nick died... did it stay shit or should i give it a chance. Killing the best character off the way they did really pissed me off, ive never written a show off before.

@Gizmoduck - I haven't seen the most recent season. But it's not very good, IMO.

Hopefully Sherry will end up on the show too. Because it would be interesting to see how Dwight and Sherry try to salvage their marriage.

Anybody watch black summer? I liked that this needs to be more like that.

Fast zombies are always better than geriatric shufflers.

@ClungeGame - fast zombies arent zombies though. Zombies dont have the coordination or balance to sprint

@Kevwebsz - classic zombies are undead that motor functions dont work right and overtake you by sheer numbers. Then there are the 21 days type zombies, that are more like rabid people - both creepy, but 21's are more dangerous, while hordes of creeping death is more terrifying imo. I do like Zombieland zombies that are a decent mix of the two, they dont run properly, but dont shuffle, so escaping them isnt a problem unless they horde up.

@ClungeGame - Return of the Living Dead were the best. Intelligent and head wounds didn't stop them. Also gloriously campy.

The next article on the walking dead will read. The Walking Dead crew do everything to keep the show alive & relevant. Stranger thing is sadly going down the same road. Some shows just don't need to be milked to death

I started off not liking fear but last season might have been my favorite. I like the group they have now hated that chick they had as the lead. Morgan definitely got me to liking the show a lot more. Its like they kept some of the best with strand and alisha and got rid of the trash characters.

First three seasons of Fear were great. Fear worked so much better as a Prequel than a wannabe Walking Dead.

It will always piss me off though that Season Three ended with the Fear Gang headed to Houston Texas around the same time when Abraham lived there with his family before he met Eugene and we could've kept Fear as a Prequel with Nick and Madison still alive on the show with Abraham returning for two or three seasons.

But instead cause Scott Gimple is an idiot, Fear's no longer a prequel which made the actors who played Nick and Madison leave, Morgan's been pushed over to Fear when he should've stayed on the main show and replaced Rick as the main lead and Dwight should've been saved for a spinoff with Maggie.
