Extremely pleased to hear this news about the second half of The Walking Dead. Here's what Reedus had to say to Daemon's TV:

"I can say that in the second half, after this hiatus, people are done talking. It's all kind of firecrackers from here on out. It gets more action packed. The first part of the season, it gets slow when people have to talk. That's just how it works. I think the writers have done such a great job with setting up storylines and explaining them when they need to be explained, not over talking it and not over thinking it. There are certain things that need to be said to keep the story moving and I think they've done a good job with it. I know when people watch the show they go, ‘More zombies. More death.' But you have to do a bit of talking. Otherwise it's ‘Transformers.'

Ha! Just awesome! Walking Dead is definetly my favorite show out now, I have been reading the comics since they first started being published. People need to realize that it has always been foccused on the people more then the zombies. How people servive, how they exist with each other, and how the zombie apocolypse changes each of them and turns them into people they never thought they would be. I think they are doing great with the show so far and I can't wait for February!

Oh yeah, Bring in Tyrese damn it! lol

Thought he was a very good actor, but after that comment about Transformers I can see he's also a very smart actor. Legend

Good interview, he is a brilliant character, is that picture at the middle from the actual comic or just a fan artist? I haven't read the comics much lately so I don't know if the character was introduced on the comics already.

Is Tyrese a character from the comics or is Tyrese the actor/singer going to have a part in the show? I've seen the name a few times lately.

Norman Reedus is a boss.

@QuietStorm Tyreese is a character from the comics that has yet to appear on the show. And the character has nothing to do with the actor/singer.

I gotta go against you on this one too, Truder. Season 2 has stuck to the formula very well. Even Alice Cooper loved it (pretty cool when he called the Talking Dead after show to give Kirkman praise)!

I loved his Transformers comment and Daryl is one of the coolest characters in the show. I remember all the haters in season one just because he wasn't in the comic, now everyone loves him.

Thanks for the help. I'ma go pick up the comics this weekend. The show is pretty good and you all have mentioned a few new characters that sound pretty bad ass. I'm anxious to see how the two pet zombies with no arms or jaws are gonna look on screen.

I've actually liked season 2 a lot so far. Can't wait for it to return. Also, I'd usually be against this, but it would be pretty cool to see Daryl make his way into the comics.

Great to hear that, the series' good so far for me but it indeed needs a lot more action. So if people are done talking...that's good. And anyway, he's also my favorite by now.

This season has been pretty awesome. While there really hasn't been nearly as much zombie action going on this season, the interactions between the characters has been really good. I'm loving how Shane is kinda becoming a bit of a bad guy now and the wrap up to the Sophia/barn situation was a very powerful scene.

OK guys, let's please hold on a moment here, I have a couple of comments regarding this:

1/ I think TRANSFORMERS (at least 1 and 2) were REALLY good, EXACTLY what you could and should expect from a movie about giant robots fighting.

2/ IMO Daryl Dixon is the best character in the series.

3/ MOST IMPORTANT - Did anyone notice how that "Transformers" comment completely "CHANGED" the topic of the article/discussion here? I mean, now everyone seems to be posting comments regarding "how bad transformers was" and no one's commenting on how SLOW this TWD season was... I hope the second half gets better as Reedus states...
