Promo For THE WALKING DEAD S308 - 'Made To Suffer'

This show is gonna give me a heart attack. Check out a promo for next week's mid-season finale, which see Rick and his crew arm up to go rescue Maggie and Glenn from the clutches of The Governor. Will Andrea be forced to choose sides? One thing's for sure, there will be blood..

'Made To Suffer' is also the title of volume 8 of Robert Kirkman's Walking Dead comic series - by far the bloodiest, most disturbing volume so far in my opinion. But as we know, things are playing out a little..well, a lot differently in the tv show. Still, I think we can expect quite a bit carnage- it is the mid season finale after all. Tune in to AMC next Sunday at 9 to see how it all plays out.

I won't give it away, but take 'Made to Suffer' as an universal theme for all the characters...

"WTF is a mid-season finale? I hate tv."

A mid-season finale is exactly as it is worded. The Walking Dead Season 3 is composed of 16 episodes. They are ending this year with Episode 8 so it will resume with episode 9 in the spring, presumably. I first noticed these "Mid-Season Finales" with Breaking Bad. And by just looking, I infer it is just used to piss people off, leaving them hungry and befuddled for more. Which is defintely the case with Breaking Bad...

And by what I've seen and read with this Mid-Season Finale, it is the same case... Hehehe....

As for the "I hate tv" comment. I'm sorry, I too, hate most of television these days. I do however enjoy The Office, Futurama, Rules of Engagement, The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad along with dozens of others.

I hope Darryl has to kill Merle. How awesome would that be?!

To me, Merle seemed to show a tiny bit or remorse for what was going on with Maggie and Glen and the end there..and in the promo the same when Gov tells him he's gonna kill them.

@SmellofDuty

U know what else would be awesome, if Rick sees Andrea and thinks he's rescuing her too, but she plays inncocent till his back is turned and she silently pulls gun on him still mad they left her behind but before she can pull the trigger Michonne comes out and slices off her head saving Rick and showing her trust and loyalty to him...imagine :D

@CptCrunchy

Yes, Chad Coleman from The Wire is said to be playing Tyreese.

How accurate is IMDB? Because if its correct a few characters don't make it past the next EP based on not having any show credits while others clearly do because theirs extend beyond the next EP.

@knighted:
Its kinda a crap shoot. This season, they were a spot-on way to determine T-Dog fate. But in other shows, they have been less accurate.

@thegambitfreak

i'm kinda confused by your post. the comic storyline 'MTS' almost literally cannot even come close to being resembled in the show. i also won't give away spoilers, but if you've truly read the comic then you should realize that most of the major plot points can't really take place due to the way the show has (brilliantly) carved out its own path.

sure there are a few characters and events that can still happen, but for the most part its just not possible to know whats coming next, based off the books.

I think the second half of season 3 comes back in Feb 2013. And this is not new, many shows go on Winter/ holiday hiatus.

The last couple episodes have ben weak. I guess they can't all be great but this stuff about the Governor playing out to be a 'middle of the road' back guy is crap. He should be waaayyy more evil.
