"It's attempted to get you to watch Into the Badlands, Turn and 'that Train one'.  You've stuck with The Walking Dead for almost six years and no matter how predictable it gets, you've sunk too much of your life into it to stop.  Now settle in for another block of 8 episodes with - 2 great ones, 2 good ones, and 4 hours of pure filler. "

Season 6 picks up immediately following the events of last spring's finale when Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) executed Alexandrian Pete (Corey Brill) in front of a shocked town hall meeting. But new threats both inside and outside the community will force Rick, Michonne (Danai Gurira) and the other survivors to reevaluate their roles within the group and take drastic actions in order to protect their people and their new home.

The Walking Dead stars Lincoln, Gurira, Chandler Riggs, Lauren Cohan, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Michael Cuditz,
Christian Serratos, Steven Yeun and Sonequa Martin-Green.  Executive producers on the show are Robert Kirkman, Scott M. Gimple, Greg Nicotero and Gale Anne Hurd.

Tim Miller directed that DC universe online trailer a few years back. That is how Fox found him. Someone make an article.

If you read the comics though it's pure Kirkman. 10 pages of nothing consequential, person you love gets face blown off in last panel.

I hate this whole notion of filler episodes. They used to be called character episodes that made you care more about the big moments. But I swear this YouTube generation...

@DallasAvenger - its too much like a soap opera at times though, isnt it?
I find the human scenes on the show extremely boring next to the books.

@RandalCabbage - I've never read any of it actually. I wasn't really even speaking of The Walking Dead in particular but I hear this complaint all the time about various shows and I'm like how can you build suspense and explore characters and their relationships if the roof is falling on every single episode. It's okay to take a breath every once in a while and rebuild the tension.

@batz11 - I thought the last episode was the best they've done so far. Just gut wrenching while maintaining a glimeer of hope. Mixed in were a few Hell Yeah! moments too. Great great episode, I feel sorry for people that wrote the show off after season 3.

@batz11 - its the people on here that might make me leave this site. they expect everything to be citizen kane. they can never just realize this show breaks record and is the most popular on tv. Probably bc it doesnt have someone running around in a mask. its one of the most popular of all time and its not leaving soon

I dislike this shows revolving door of black characters and also i have been tired of zombies since 2009. Zombieland was the peak.
