Bleeding Cool has found the first trailer for The Walking Dead's second season. While it offers up no real footage from the second season if does gives us a good look at the shows zombies and at Andrew Lincoln as Officer Rick Grimes.

Update: Robert Kirkman took to twitter to reveal that this teaser is a fake. There were some suspicions about it, but now we have confirmation that it is just a very good fan made trailer.

The Walking Dead will start its second season in October of this year.

I agree with Frostbite, this looks fan-made. And at the 25 sec mark, that doesnt look like Andrew Lincoln as Rick...besides Frank Darabont can come up with a waaay better teaser than this...yeah this is suspect.

I too thought it looked awesome. It was weird CGI for a high quality show like this though.

Question...how the hell in real life would you expect to get a video of a slow motion bullet being fired from a gun?

Of course this is going to be cgi...as if they would fire a real bullet to get this shot...idiots!!! :(

They are actually filming this week across from my best friends house here in Newnan, Ga. Hoping his wife gets some pictures/video like I ask her. Not holding out a ton of hope since she had never heard of the show and didn't sound interested, but if anyone else is in that area they are filming at/near Newnan High School.

This is a fake. Notice the angle of the bullet.
