This article doesn't spoil at all but the pic on main is exactly like when Shane died. Can't believe after all the fuss it happened again. Why is it necessary.

This article is fine though.

When the episode airs NATIONALLY, it can no longer be called a spoiler.

By the way, AMC sent me the video and pics to post at 8:19pm PST. So give your hatred to AMC if you think this is a "spoiler"--which is not.

CBM has spoiled Iron Man 2 after credits scene, Thor after credits scene, Wolverine cameo in First Class, Shane's death, and now Merle's death. Thank you! Been on this site for years, love the way you don't give a shit about ruining things for the fans of your site Big G.

You must "love it" Captain. Otherwise, why are you still here complaining?
CaptainAmerica
CaptainAmerica - 3/24/2013, 10:16 PM
I do love this site, the fact that you keep ignoring what a huge majority of your site's fans say just pisses me off. Like I said, all those things have been spoiled for me but instead of an apology I always get a huge "this is my site, I do what I want." You forget though that the fans of your site make it one of the biggest on the Internet. A little sympathy or respect would be nice.

WOW seriously? Way to spoil it. The giant picture and headline completely ruin it for anyone who didn't get the chance to see it within the past *few hours!*

@robojox91...at least he has the balls to speak his mind unlike most of the pussies on this site. I mean really, wtf is there to fear? The main admin of a comic site?? Ya,,,,terrifying.

@Captain...I agree completely. Good for you. There is nothing wrong with speaking your mind, and in this case, the truth.

I understand that you can't call something, that has been aired nationally, a spoiler, but you could have at least given people like me a choice! Here we are in Australia, waiting to see the show with bated breath, only to find the image on one of the most important guys on the show as a walker on the homepage.

Captain,
I recognize that my site's popularity is driven by the fans. That is why I give them what they want. I don't believe that "a huge majority of our site's fan's" dislike how I run my site. Rather, I think your opinion is in the minority and that MOST of the vocal critics are simply seeking the attention that they don't get in real life by looking for ways they can feign outrage on a fansite comment section.

Just my opinion though. You are entitled to yours as well.

What I think is funny is ElMayimbe over at Latino-Review had said weeks ago that this was going to happen and even had a screen shot. He is rarely wrong and yet you [frick]holes bust his balls. I like CBM & LR equally and thats how I keep up on breaking stories. I just think its funny that he was right after some of you assholes were talking shit when he broke it.

Lol BBarber, I do admit though that I usually don't know how to speak my mind without insulting people. People like Fullspeedahead are able to speak their mind in a more friendly manner. I'm just tired of all the spoilers I keep running into just by not watching something the day of, or the exact hour it airs lol

No offense to our friends outside the U.S., but the market here is so much bigger than everywhere else, it drives what we do. Just sayin'.

I don't know, I've seen a lot of people upset about the spoilers. I remember when the spoilers would be edited out of the headlines but now there are huge pictures staring at you right when you check the site out.

@Durango...el Morono broke something that was already leaked three hours earlier. So the guy breaks the news on the leak and suddenly he's right?? No. That dude is not always right, therefore he deserved the ball busting he gets. But you just go ahead and keep on blowin him...

@Captain...well, you did just fine sir. Big props to you my friend.

i guess getting more hits is more important than not spoiling things for the non US fans and even tons of fans in the US? :/

While i understand that this episode has already aired hence it not being a "spoiler" and this is your site and all that the fact that you don't care about complaints or about losing a fan, i still want to express my opinion..[frick] you for ruining it.
that is all...
CaptainAmerica
CaptainAmerica - 3/24/2013, 10:36 PM
That's another thing, you have fans from all over the world who visit the site on a regular basis that havent had a chance yet to watch the episode. I really try to just avoid the site during times when I know this might happen but I honestly only have this site and LR for movie news, don't check that many more out.

@ComicBookMovie also, even if a movie comes out worldwide, not everyone goes to see it on day one. just like many people record shows and watch them later. point being movie critics and websites don't ruin movies in their reviews. hollywood reporter isn't going to spoil the ending to IM3 an hour after the midnight release just because it's out, so everyone must have seen it

this article is great, I'm glad its up, but i feel like a simple spoiler alert would have been nice for a lot of people

ComicBookMovie - 3/24/2013, 10:40 PM
Just a warning people. While I am an easy going kind of guy, if you display the amazing lack of common sense to tick me off, you will find yourself without an account. I can take honest criticisim, but jerks get no mercy.

Do you really have to spoil it in the teaser? Can't you atleast put a spoiler warning in the title?
ComicBookMovie
ComicBookMovie - 3/24/2013, 10:44 PM
I'll say this once again for all you whiners saying, "but what about people who DVR, and people in other countries"...

1.) We are a breaking news site. After something is aired on TV to the majority of the world, it is NOT considered a spoiler.

2.) AMC gave us the video and pics in this article 19 minutes after the episode was airing on the east coast. We waited until it was over, and posted. Again, not spoiling anything AMC didn't already.

End of story.

ElMayaimbe from Latino Review already posted this picture last week and got banned for doing it. The secret was already out. But on point, of you know it's aired in the U.S. and don't want it spoiled, stay off the site until you view it. Could be a solution....
CaptainAmerica
CaptainAmerica - 3/24/2013, 10:50 PM
I'm pretty sure people get the whole spoiler article thing and are ok with it, it's the giant picture of Zombie Merle that gets to us. Isn't there a way you could just post an article saying something like "discuss this weeks dramatic episode of Walking Dead" instead of that giant pic? Wouldn't that be a win win?
