BBC America has released the first four minutes of the Season 4 premiere of Orphan Black and it looks like we'll be visiting a time not long before Sarah Manning crossed paths with Beth Childs at a train platform on that fateful night four seasons ago. The extended flashback picks up in the woods as two shady individuals bury a body and are observed by a masked figure, that figure of course being the newest addition to Clone Club, M.K.! She leaves a marking on a tree and flees before being discovered and once she's in the clear, she rings up another familiar face - Beth Childs!

Check out the four-minute clip, which also features another surprise cameo, from the premiere episode: "The Collapse of Nature" below:

How weird is it that after three seasons, I actually miss Beth. A character that up until now, we've only ever seen maybe 30 seconds of.

This show isn't just good because Maslany's acting is good (and it is), but because the writing amazing aware of the importance of characterization. Making characters known by their actions, or in Beth's case, absence.
