I heard enough when the serious voice starts by saying "An entire town is trapped under a dome".

Is it based off the Simpsons movie?

Um no its based on the stephen king novel...which he started writing about 20 years before the simpsons movie.

Pretty good not great..every show should improve as it progresses.
