Here's the extended promo for the season finale for The CW's Arrow [it's actually in HD]. Keeping it short as I have yet to actually view this week's episode but rest assured I'll have some cool Arrow related stuff coming down the pipeline as we draw closer to the season finale.

HEROES ARE FORGED AND SACRIFICES MADE IN THIS EPIC SEASON FINALE — Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Diggle (David Ramsey) race to stop the Dark Archer (John Barrowman) from unleashing his vengeance on The Glades. However, they run into a roadblock after Detective Lance (Paul Blackthorne) picks up Felicity for questioning. Tommy (Colin Donnell) and Oliver’s already tumultuous relationship takes a turn for the worse after Oliver makes a confession about Laurel (Katie Cassidy). After hearing of the danger in The Glades, Thea (Willa Holland) races to find Roy (Colton Haynes), inadvertently putting herself directly in the line of fire for Malcolm’s (John Barrowman) devious plan. On the island, Oliver, Slade (Manu Bennett) and Shado (guest star Celina Jade) are locked in a life-or-death struggle against Fyers (guest star Sebastian Dunn) as his missiles lock on a full Ferris Air jetliner. Susanna Thompson also stars. David Barrett directed the episode with the teleplay written by Marc Guggenheim & Andrew Kreisberg and story by Greg Berlanti (#123).

After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the Pacific. When he returns home to Starling City, his devoted mother Moira, much-beloved sister Thea, and best friend Tommy welcome him home, but they sense Oliver has been changed by his ordeal on the island. While Oliver hides the truth about the man he’s become, he desperately wants to make amends for the actions he took as the boy he was. Most particularly, he seeks reconciliation with his former girlfriend, Laurel Lance. As Oliver reconnects with those closest to him, he secretly creates the persona of Arrow – a vigilante – to right the wrongs of his family, fight the ills of society, and restore Starling City to its former glory. By day, Oliver plays the role of a wealthy, carefree and careless philanderer he used to be – flanked by his devoted chauffeur/bodyguard, John Diggle – while carefully concealing the secret identity he turns to under cover of darkness. However, Laurel’s father, Detective Quentin Lance, is determined to arrest the vigilante operating in his city. Meanwhile, Oliver’s own mother, Moira, knows much more about the deadly shipwreck than she has let on – and is more ruthless than he could ever imagine.

I don't think there will be super powers (At least not at first) I just hope that Green Arrow gets a [frick]ing mask...the mascara isn't cutting it.

This show gets hated on a lot but i thoroughly enjoyed this season.The ladies(Laurel and Felicity) are smoking hot,good acting,and intriguing stories each week.I really dug Manu Bennett being brought in and all the Easter eggs.Looking forward to the finale and season 2!

@iamsohi if you believe laurel is acting good i don't know on what planet i'm living in... It's by far one of the worst acting i have seen and i can't believe she lasted all the season.

I like the show and it's not doing bad but i think there are more potentials in it and i hope they will find them until the next season.

@deanpl
Laurel has done great. The entire cast have done great. Don't know what your expectations are or other shows you watch to say she is the worst you have ever seen. Are you expecting Oscar award level from everyone on this show?

I think in this promo Felicity is talking to Tommy about being a hero and not Oliver.

Great episode, can't wait for the finale. I'm a little skeptical about bringing in super powers. There is no shortage of talented DC heroes,and a key component of this shows success is the balance between satisfying the fan boys, and maintaining an appeal to the average viewer. The ongoing story of the island keeps the show very interesting, as we watch the Arrow's origin unfold throughout the season. Plenty of time for more powerful heroes later,as the success of the show builds.

I think itd be pretty cool if next season stuff starts to get out of hand and you see Kord become Blue Beetle, and everyone loves him so Oliver kinda takes note and dons the name Green Arrow or something
